Measurement Control & Automation Sales Professional Training and Certification

MCASP logoThis program has been developed by the Measurement, Control & Automation Association in partnership with Catalyst Performance Learning.  CPCA members receive MCAA member rates.  This is an online based, self-paced program which permits candidates to learn at their own speed.  Monthly reinforcement webinars are included in the program.  The CPCA Board of Directors believes that a focused and impartial third party certification process for salespeople will benefit the control and automation industry.  The program involved MCAA member companies, recognized industry experts and professional sales training providers to assemble the educational programs that provide the required expertise to ensure an instrument and controls salesperson’s competency.  The four basic areas of expertise they identified are:

  1. Sales skills and process
  2. Basic technology knowledge
  3. Understanding of primary process industries
  4. Knowledge of primary industry applications
